Automotive polyolefin selection typically comes down to stiffness/impact balance, scratch performance, emissions/odor targets, and paintability. For example, Moplen PP is used for battery cases. Hostacom is typically used for automotive interior trims and Hifax grades are automotive-oriented impact copolymers.
We support by matching application requirements to compound families (GF, talc-filled, elastomer-modified), then confirming documentation and supply readiness.

Where we typically support
- Battery cases and housings
- Interior and utility components where impact and stiffness must coexist
- Parts where appearance under stress matters

Relevant grades
- Moplen EP1006 - positioned for battery cases/parts with low stress whitening and heat‑aging resistance notes

  • Hostacom M4 U 02 (PP-T40 compound) - for automotive and dimensional stability needs.

How we help
We can help you translate an OEM requirement list into a small set of grades and then support the documentation path needed for qualification. We won’t pretend one datasheet number solves automotive qualification, because it doesn’t.
